Tuesday, March 12th. The Installation Meeting of "Devon" Lodge was held at The Masonic Hall, Newton Abbot with an excellent attendance. Among the many distinguished Brethren was Worshipful Bro. Christopher Yard, Assistant Provincial Grand Master and Presiding Officer for the fourth occasion in sucession. W.Bro. R. Whitaker was Installed as Worshipful Master and then appointed and invested his Officers. The Address to the Worshipful Master was presented by his son W.Bro.J. Whitaker, Deputy Provincial Grand Master of Hampshire and Isle of Wight. After completing the Labours of the Meeting the Lodge was closed in due and ancient form. The Installation Banquet, complete with the formal Toasts and Responses plus the hearty rendition of the Master's song, was held at the Teignmouth Masonic Hall. A memorable family occasion for our new Worshipful Master and all the Brethren.

Tuesday, February 12th. The annual Business Meeting was held at the Masonic Hall, Newton Abbot. The Lodge was opened and closed in all Three Degrees in due and ancient form with the explanations of the Working Tools in each Degree. Following the completion of the annual business affaires the Lodge was closed in due and ancient form. The Worshipful Master, Distinguished Brethren and Brethren then retired from the Lodge and the remainder of the evening was spent in harmony at our Festive Board.

Saturday, February 9th. Our annual Ladies' Night was held at the Redcliffe Hotel, Paignton, with good food, jovial company and dancing until late. A most enjoyable evening with many happy memories.

Tuesday, January 8th. A regular Meeting was held at the Masonic Hall, Newton Abbot. The lodge was opened in due form and visitors welcomed. The ceremony of Raising was performed in an excellent manner. After the completion of the remaining labours of the evening the Lodge was closed in due and ancient form. The Worshipful Master, Distinguished Brethren and Brethren then retired from the Lodge and the remainder of the evening was spent in harmony at our joyful Festive Board.
